Director of Value Analysis

Key Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for leading a system-wide value analysis process with the goal of providing high quality, efficient and cost effective service.  This process requires the establishment of, and adherence to, a streamlined method for standardizing and monitoring product/service selection, utilization, and costs.  Based on current research and clinical outcomes, the Director of Value Analysis provides clinical and strategic expertise that facilitates supply expense management while continuously reviewing and improving all processes that support patient care.  This position actively works with members of the health care team to assist them with contract implementations and conversions, which includes listening to concerns, mediating user issues with manufacturers and following up on product quality concerns.  The Director of Value Analysis serves staff as both an educator and mentor on the value analysis process.  The Director works strategically and tactically to identify, analyze, decide, and implement best practices and expense management initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • BS in Nursing or other clinical discipline required.
  • Master's degree in appropriate business or clinical related discipline preferred.
  • Advanced certification in project management and healthcare finance and/or desirable.
  • 10 years experience in clinical operations, with at least 5 years in a management setting.
  • Project Management experience is essential
  • Detailed knowledge of current Clinical and Non-Clinical Healthcare Products best practices.  Experience in health care supply chain preferred.

Value Analysis Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for the oversight, management, and daily operations of the value analysis program. This individual is responsible to evaluate the value analysis process so as to assure adherence to an effective and efficient method for monitoring and standardizing supply, equipment, and service selection utilization and cost management.

Qualifications

  • ADN or BSN degree, or equivalent relevant job experience is required plus clinical background with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant healthcare experience is required.
  • Other Requirements: A working knowledge of healthcare supply chain concept and operations is required. Demonstrate analytical experience, project management, problem solving, customer service, and team building and communication skills are required.
  • Computer literacy is required with advanced skill level in Excel spreadsheet application, database management, and supply automation applications and tools in a healthcare setting. Microsoft Word is required.
  • RN is preferred. CMRP credentials are a plus. Knowledge of Oracle Materials Management System is a plus.

Director Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs the purchasing process for all goods and services required by client. Implements various processes for purchasing, receiving and accounts payable by effective coordination with management in other departments, including IS and financial services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Healthcare or business Administration or other related field.
  • 5 years experience in healthcare purchasing or materials management with 3 years in management position.

Managers / Senior Managers

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver complex consulting engagements from inception through delivery
  • Perform all aspects of structured project management to ensure delivery of high quality services and deliverables on time and within budget
  • Conceptualize consulting services and participate in sales from engagement definition through contract signing
  • Develop and sustain excellence in client relationships at all levels
  • Lead teams, coach team members and facilitate professional development

Qualifications

  • Health care consulting experience with a big four or comparable consulting firm including multiple years at the Manager/Senior Manager level
  • In depth knowledge of: Health care operations, Revenue cycle, Cost reduction, or Inventory or supply chain management
  • Proven project management methodology expertise
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor degree required; Graduate degree a plus

Consultant / Senior Consultant

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of consulting engagements from assessment through design and implementation
  • Leverage supply chain, cost reduction, revenue cycle or health care operations expertise to deliver high quality services for clients
  • Build effective working relationships with team members and clients
  • Facilitate client working sessions and buy-in
  • Provide high quality consulting services and present solutions and deliverables
  • Create and manage project plans to achieve project objectives on time and within budget  

Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of health care consulting experience
  • In depth knowledge of health care operations, revenue cycle, cost reduction, or inventory or supply chain management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor degree required; Graduate degree is a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma or process transformation methodology experience is a plus

Analyst

Entry Level Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality consulting services for health care clients as part of the project team
  • Conduct research, collect and analyze data and create high-quality client deliverables
  • Participate in client interviews and meetings, coordinate and track action items and create deliverables
  • Identify project issues and communicate effectively with project manager
  • Participate on multiple consulting engagements and proactively expand skill sets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years work experience or Masters degree
  • Desire to develop consulting skills with strong interest in health care industry
  • Strong problem solving, communication, writing and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint & Access skills
