We are pleased to announce that preparation classes for The Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) exam are now available through GNYHA Services and Nexera, Inc., and can be funded through GNYHA Services member Resource Pool.
The CMRP credential is the nationally recognized professional certification for health care materials management professionals. Administered through the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) and the American Hospital Association (AHA), the purpose of CMRP is to promote health care materials and resource management through the certification of qualified individuals by:

Recognizing formally those individuals who meet the eligibility requirements of the AHA Certification Center and pass the examination

Encouraging continued personal and professional growth in the practice of health care materials and resource management

Providing a national standard of requisite knowledge for certification; thereby assisting employers, the public and members of the health professions in assessing a health care materials and resource manager.
Included:
- 8.0 Contact hours classroom instruction, taught by CMRP-credentialed faculty
- Each candidate receives:
- exam review text and other related study materials
- two comprehensive on-line practice exams
- additional e-mail and telephone support with instructor as necessary
- Costs of the examination
- AHRMM membership for one year
